PayPal's Express Checkout is fully integrated into Big Realm e-commerce. Benefits of using PayPal in brief: Customers do not need to enter financial or personal details when placing an order. The payment is settled as soon as the order is complete. PayPal has over 130 million account holders. Customers are comfortable with the familiar PayPal checkout process. Big Realm displays PayPal buttons and marks as expected by PayPal customers. Customer details are populated by PayPal, expediting the process.   To start using PayPal with Big Realm e-commerce, you must be running Big Realm e-commerce version 1.0.2.0 or later. The version is displayed at the bottom left of the Main Menu screen, and can be updated by pressing 'Check for updates'. To start using PayPal in your shop, follow these instructions: 1 Sign up to PayPal at www.paypal.com.au 2 Create a Business account. Follow the PayPal instructions to complete your Business account. If you are already a Personal or Premier account holder, upgrade to Business. 3 After you have completed creating a PayPal Business account, you can go back to the PayPal login page to enter your new PayPal Business account login email address and password. 4 Press Log In. 5 Press 'Profile' in the 'My Account' tab. 6 Press 'API Access' in the 'Account Information' list. 7 Press 'Grant API Permissions'. 8 Enter 'cos_api1.bigrealm.com.au' into the 'API Account Username' field. 9 Tick the 'PayPal Express Checkout' checkbox. 10 Press Submit. 11 Press 'Give Permission'. 12 Start Big Realm e-commerce, and press 'Customer Payment Methods'. 13 Tick the 'PayPal' checkbox. 14 Enter your PayPal email. 15 Press Update Server. 16 You will need to generate your shop and upload. 17 To ensure that the permissions were successful, complete a PayPal Express Checkout order with your online shop.
